The Heavy Duty Extra Life Pulse Unit can be used on 24v or 36v Lead Acid batteries. The lead from the plates combines with the electrolyte (dilute sulphuric acid) to make lead sulphate. 90% of batteries do not die of old age but are literally “choked” to death by a substance known as Lead Sulphate which occurs in all Lead Acid batteries.
